In a land where summers and winters life takes decades, conflicts lurk everywhere. Wild lands in southern and eastern machivelic until the frozen north and the ancient wall that protects the kingdom of darkness, two powerful families are caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse (game of thrones), whose goal is absolute control over the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.
While betrayals, carnal lust, intrigue and supernatural forces shake the four corners of Westeros, bloody battle for the throne of iron will have unintended consequences.
Game of Thrones tells the story of kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars and nobles, all caught in a power struggle. At the beginning of the show, King Robert Baratheon, married to beg the corrupt and rich Lannister family Lannisterilor, asks Lord Eddard "Ned" Stark to come south and help him to lead the kingdom after the death of his trusted man. Meanwhile, the throne is threatened from the East, the teenage princess and her brother Viserys Daenerys, both in exile after their family, in charge of the kingdom for many years, was massacred. There are also rumors that strange things were occurring at the edge of the kingdom, north wall, where Jon Snow, illegitimate son of Ned's, part of the brotherhood Night guards, who vowed to keep United.
HBO aired two more promos last night, before and after the season two premiere of Game of Thrones. One was a new trailer which incorporated some quotes from the many glowing reviews of season two, the other was a teaser of what is to come in this season. Check them out!

HBO has declared this Sunday, the day of the season two premiere, to be “Game of Thrones Day.” They have a number of different ways to get fans fired up for the premiere airing that night, which the below poster illustrates.
